Project Manager - ArtMedium - Jordan

The role of the Project Manager is to create, plan and implement the project, in compliance with the set objectives and deadlines. A duty of the project manager is to refine then continuously define the projects’ objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver the project effectively.

Education and Experience
- BS in Visual Arts or related credentials
- Experience in creative industry

Skills
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience
- Adequate understanding of/exposure to the art industry and market
- Knowledge of art and artists in Jordan and the region
- Professional experience in management and team leadership
- Ability to come up with creative solutions and create opportunities for all involved parties
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- People management skills
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong English and Arabic language skills – written and verbal
- MS Office, MS Project, Prezi

List of major responsibilities and duties
- Create a concept that provides value for the set objectives
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support the company’s goals in collaboration with senior management
- Plan and schedule project resources, timeline and milestones using appropriate and presentable tools that can be used by other team members
- Shape identified resources and clearly assign task and responsibilities to be carried out individually by the team
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and senior management
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Develop and deliver progress reports and updated requirements
- Liaise and coordinate with other department heads to ensure the provision of each project meets objectives
- Liaise and coordinate with third-party contractors to utilize resources/network and deliver projects according to plan
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Ensure project meets requirements and objectives
