Web/Graphic Designer - PopCap Games - Ireland

The Web/Graphic Designer for PopCap Games will have marketing/advertising experience, and a rockstar portfolio to back it up. This position is part of a growing Creative Lab Dublin team responsible for a wide variety of marketing materials for PopCap International and works with Senior Designers and Director of Creative Labs for creative feedback. This position designs everything from banner ads, graphics for our corporate website and portal partners, and localizes creative for the European markets. The ideal candidate will have clear communication skills, will be able to produce the highest quality designs under tight deadlines and has a natural familiarity with the PopCap brand.

Responsibilities
- Support marketing initiatives by creating fun, high-quality designs that drive traffic to our website and games
- Will include, but not limited to: website layouts, static and flash banner ads, mailers, marketing images, custom assets for partners
- Juggling simultaneous projects, delivering on tight deadlines to the highest standard
- Working with the Localisation team translating designs into European languages
- Designing and localizing corporate materials, including posters, brochures, presentation graphics

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in graphic design within an in-house Marketing/Advertising environment
- Outstanding communication skills, composure under pressure, an aptitude for quickly learning new skills
- An expert using the latest Adobe Creative Suite software
- Digital illustration skills, specifically around 2D character design
- Experience coding XHTML, CSS, Actionscript and Javascript
- Familiar with the latest CMS tools
- Ability to quickly apply successful designs across multiple games and banner sizes
- Reinforces corporate and game branding guidelines
- Must be highly efficient and able to turn out deliverables quickly
- Proven experience meeting deadlines, and juggling multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, or collaborate with a team
- Must have a colourful, diverse and - most importantly - fun online portfolio!
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
