Social Media Specialist - ThinkMedia Labs - Lebanon

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to implement different Social Media strategies, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, and encourage product adoption. This role coordinates with the strategy and marketing teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a social media referral network.

The person will have to be extremely entrepreneurial and results driven as and performance will be measured based on actual results.

Attributes and required skills are: confidence, motivation, innovation, determination, good organizational and time management skills, attention to details, the ability to work well on your own and also as part of a team, and the ability to develop in-depth knowledge about Clients’ products and markets.

Your key responsibilities and duties for this position would include, but not limited to, the following:

- Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility and traffic across all social media platforms
- Build outreach initiatives outside of sales or marketing goals to give the clients’ brands a personality and voice within the industry and the communities
- Produce blog updates, podcasts, videos, online posts, and newsletters to promote the community, featured members, new content,…

- Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, seeding content into social applications as needed, daily monitoring,…
- Implement the social media strategy, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure its effectiveness, encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services
- Ensure you are always up to date on the latest social media tools
- Become an advocate of the Company and its clients in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues, and answering questions where appropriate
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
- Monitor trends in social media techniques
- Measure Results: Constantly measure the impact and results of social media on the overall marketing efforts with different tracking and analysis tools. Review what is working and what needs improvement.
- Prepare status reports on social media efforts and success rates
- Establish relevant metrics to map the impact of social media activities in both a qualitative and quantitative fashion, and amend strategies based on learnings and patterns

Desired Skills & Experience
Our ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Digg, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
- Has a strong understanding of social networking and social media marketing
- Leadership experience with the strategic planning and marketing of at least one successful online community
- Proven ability to create and execute online social media campaigns with significant growth patterns
- Expertise publishing or participating on blogs, social news, video/photo sharing, social networking applications, widgets / gadgets, viral marketing campaigns, and podcasts. Should already have profiles established on some of the more well-known sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Ability to quantitatively assess Web analytics and data to adapt creative and business objectives in response to market feedback and user activity trends
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
- Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
- Has strong writing skills (Arabic or English or both - French is a plus)
- Public relations, Marketing, Sales, or Community Management experience are a plus
