Invitation to submit services offer for a Designer for Handicrafts Products

The Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa (APJM) is implementing a project entitled "Supporting small initiatives of traditional food production and handicraft in rural areas of Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve SIFOHR" a grant awarded by MEPI, US Department of State. The project timeframe extends from May 10, 2011 till May 09, 2012.

In the framework of the above mentioned project, APJM is interested to purchase services whose technical features are described below: Scope of Work, and whose terms and conditions are as follows:
- Object Performance: Services as Designer for Handicrafts Products (Previous experience in Handicrafts Design is a Must and experience in Handicraft Design execution is a Plus)
- Payment : Total amount proposed for each Task upon satisfactory completion and delivery of Outputs
- Timeframe: Four months from contract signature/Not to exceed 16 working days

Scope of Work: Technical Features Service/Task:
-Guidance sessions for a total of 10 women. -->Output: 1 session on design creation, seeking input, validation, selection and importance of image in marketing. (October)
-Design and propose tailor-made handicraft products linked to APJM eco-tourism activities in coordination with Handicrafts’ consultants and project team. -->Output: - 1 session to assess handicraft status in the villages through the eyes of the women and to brainstorm images (October) - 1 session to review draft designs and offer suggestions and direction (November) - Designs Portfolio (December)
