Designer to design User Interface, user experience & story boards.
Responsibilities
- Design for brands, ensuring consistency of vision for each event based on the concept established by the Lead Art Director.
- Create assets from conceptualization, to design
- Work collaboratively and constructively on each project with Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and developers
- Contribute to swipe library and concepts
- Develop designs in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
- Receive and give constructive feedback on each project with positive attitude
- Must be able to shift priorities to meet deadlines based on changing calendars
Requirements
- BA in Graphic Design with educational training in typography
- Skill & experience to create refined designs with focus on layout, image composition, and typography and interactivity
- Sophisticated sense of color
- Fundamental understanding of design best practices
- Understanding of the power of x-height and white space and the discipline to apply and adhere to those standards
- Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work hard; must have the ability to contribute own ideas and concepts, as well as take direction
- Strong skills with the entire Adobe CS6
- Experience creating and optimizing graphics for the web & Apps
- Desire to learn new things and keep abreast of the world of technology, style, design, retailing and e-commerce
