The Graphic Designer will be responsible for taking projects from OMT internal customers and coordinating steps through the completion of projects by conceiving ideas and concepts then creatively developing and producing new designs and layouts such as flyers, posters, brochures, printing ads, outdoor visuals, inside shop branding, etc…
Responsibilities
- Meet, work and coordinate with internal customers to discuss projects’ objectives and requirements
- Communicate the estimated time required to complete projects; meet specified deadlines
- Brief and advise project members with regard to proposal style, format, print production and timescales
- Conduct good research, brainstorm ideas by thinking creatively to produce new concepts and designs
- Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for services and products illustrations
- Prepare and present rough layouts of material based on agreed brief
- Proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Liaise when needed with external parties (e.g.: printing houses and production houses) to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality
- Review final layouts from printing houses and suggesting improvements if required
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies in the media industry

- Knowledge of Graphic Concepts: Ability to know basic concepts regarding color tones, saturation including their use in various media platforms be it online, print or digital

- Sketching – Skill of drawing ideas: Ability to sketch ideas before working on the computer
- Ability to conduct research in a variety of modes
- Time management skills: managing time and meeting conflicting deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge in designing website, animation and production of digital and offset printing materials would be considered as a plus
Languages
- Very good in spoken & written Arabic; Good in English
Computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Knowledge in a range of design programs including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, etc…
