Saudi Research & Publishing Company - SRPC is seeking a Web Designer. This role is a perfect fit for proactive , ambitious and creative candidate who is looking to to gain valuable experience with a leading publishing company and build up a stronger portfolio.
- Create and develop exemplary, intuitive, useful visual design solutions for web, mobile and other digital platforms.
- Develop wireframes/mockups to illustrate ideas as required.
- Communicate with the development, editorial, digital and marketing team throughout all stages including concepting/production
- Work within a defined process and work on deadlines.
Requirements
- Native Arab Speaker (the position require heavy communication in Arabic)
- 2/4 years experience working as a web designer preferably with an online publishing/media/entertainment company
- Ability to create superior, original designs for web, mobile and any other digital platforms.
- Demonstrate the principles of Information Architecture and online usability
- Full understanding and experience in delivering the design in HTML, XHTML that is compatible with all Browsers.
- Familiar with CSS, XML, content management systems (CMS) , web 2.0 , web 3.0 features and functionality
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Flash (desired)
- Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
- Flash animator and familiarity with Action Script, a plus
- Preferably has experience in designing for websites that are operating on Drupal CMS
