As a Multimedia / Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the design, layout and coding of a website and social media pages. You will be involved with the technical and graphical aspects of a website, how the site works and how it looks. You will be involved with the maintenance and update of an existing site. You must have at least one year experience working with interactive media design. You'll have advanced skills in visual design and a demonstrable understanding of device user interface design.
- Designing professional optimised web layouts for small and large scale web products
- Design email campaigns design and layouts
- Design optimised graphic and flash banners for web, Social Media & emails
- Coding in TCL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript, HTML5
- Implement Table less CSS based layouts, that is also XHTML valid
- Designing layouts to achieve cross browser compatibility
- Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
- Keeping up-to-date with recent technological and software developments
- Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages including html, Javascript and others
- Producing products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
- Develop innovative navigation systems, interface designs, typography, and screen and page layouts for websites and other interactive media.
- Test the website and identify any technical problems
- Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines
- Familiarity with social-networking APIs (Twitter API, Facebook API, etc)
