Builds e-commerce market position by discovering and developing sponsorships, partnerships, and strategic alliances; defines Internet marketing strategy and marketing plan
Duties
- Implements internet marketing strategy by defining all e-commerce content, products and services; managing all e-commerce sites, programs and promotions.
- Obtains market share by developing marketing plans and programs for each product; directing promotional support.
- Identifies e-commerce trends by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
- Identifies e-commerce opportunities by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring business alliances.
- Plan, create and manage website content and design changes utilizing internal and external resources to support web-marketing initiatives
- Work closely with IT to develop, design, and implement new websites.
- Oversee website design with a focus on usability for our customers.
- Boost online traffic, customer loyalty, and create brand awareness through various online channels and activities including paid search, social media, SEO, email marketing, and PR.
- Directly design and/or support all corporate marketing campaigns, inclusive of content planning, best distribution approach for desired audience reach.
- Manage the analytics of online campaigns.
- Manage outside creative/technology partners to create engaging marketing campaigns and conduct SEO activities.
- Manage new and existing business development relationships by identifying partners and cultivating leads to grow traffic and revenue.
- Set-up and maintain comprehensive web marketing library of all graphics and print or e-media used to date and developed in the future.
- Researches and identifies relevant new technologies and digital marketing strategies to improve marketing efforts.
- Regularly review competitor websites, e-media, web promotions, flyers and campaigns to keep updated on industry happenings and ideas put forth.
- Review/track the delivery of Internet marketing activity within the budget
- Responsible for weekly, quarterly and annual website metrics and reporting
- Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer- relations programs; determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
- Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Completes marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Desired Skills & Experience
We are looking to take our SoftCall.me, a prepaid and subscription based retail telephony service to the next level. The success of such a venture relies heavily on a well thought marketing plan with tailor made strategies fitting the market segments we are after.
Therefore we are only inviting candidates with previous e-marketing experience having an extended experience in the field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in online marketing, digital advertising, online communications or a related field.
- B2C marketing experience and proven track record in growing web traffic revenue.
- Must be well versed and have a genuine interest in current digital advertising trends, best practices and emerging marketing tools.
- Technically savvy and experienced in areas such as HTML, web analytics tools, Electronic Direct Email, Pay Per Click and Microsoft Office software.
- Previous work with building professional websites highly desirable.
- Relevant product and Telecommunications industry knowledge a plus.
