Graphic Designer - GCEL - Lebanon

The Graphic Designer will assist in the creation of all visual design, including typography, visual concepts, logo and icon design as well as ensure that the visual design communicates with the organizations’ goals. This position reports to the Senior Graphic Designer.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Public & Government (P&G) team to develop, enhance and maintain all marketing materials
- Recognize design deficiencies and implement solutions
- Create first designs that are thematically appropriate to the concept and represent the organization of the information
- Implement feedback through edits, revisions, and adding or omitting information
- Participate in communications consultation and development of communications and marketing strategy

Qualification & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Graphics Design, Multimedia or any related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in concept development and design of high quality promotional material
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Web design and online marketing
- Ability to implement the creative aspects of projects and demonstrate strong business acumen
- Troubleshoot creative design and technical issues promptly and meticulously
- Self-starter able to proactively complete all projects with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and redirect the team on a contingency basis

Competencies/Skills
- Technical proficiency in design, illustration, typography, photography for print and web
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver, and any new software
- Effectively work with a team, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment with a diverse team
