Dubai office is looking for a Design Director to join our team. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, digitally connected, engaged and empathetic to what is happening around them. A natural proclivity towards collaboration, relentless perfectionism and an iterative creative process amongst a multidisciplinary and multicultural team is a plus.
You will be primarily responsible for facilitating and leading the ideation, conceptualization, creation and development of compelling branding solutions. In addition to exceptional creative and design capabilities, the role requires the ability to effectively articulate your ideas and solutions to both internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate priorities and resources with requirements as per project requirements
- Supervise and oversee project development from start to end, ensuring milestones and goals are achieved
- Promote a culture of innovation, team work and camaraderie
- Mentor designers and help to create a stimulating environment
- Establish and nurture good client relationships
- Participate in new business activities as required
- Collaborate with MBLM's network on methodology and process as required
Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional experience in a branding firm or design studio
- Strong understanding of brand strategy as a design framework
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (internally and to clients)
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple team members, even at remote locations or offices
- 2 years of minimum experience of mentoring and managing a team of designers
- Ability to understand and translate client requests into tangible actions including negotiating and coordinating amongst different disciplines
