ikonic is currently offering a full-time 3 - 6 month Designer internship. The internship will be involved in all aspects of interactive concepting and design. They will support ikonic's creative department and will brainstorm with us, develop with us, and learn all about the industry.
Qualifications:
- An incredibly talented, versatile and creative person. You must be capable of articulating the details of your work.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and want to learn all about digital marketing.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and HTML/CSS3.
- Well versed in Social Media.
- A good understanding of design fundamentals.
- Must live in or near NYC as you will work from our office.
Duties:
- Help gather imagery and design assets.
- Collect research and web trend content as needed.
- Design on a range of web, mobile apps and print projects.
- Collaborate on new business.
- Help organize office systems and procedures.
What you'll learn:
- Software and web app development processes.
- The creative process and how to reveal consumer insights.
- How to view brands from a business perspective, through the consumers’ eyes.
- Experience in collaborating with fellow designers and programmers.
- Exposure to new business processes and procedures.
Details
- Applicants must be located in the New York area in order to work out of our offices in West Chelsea.
- Be able to work a regular schedule of 40 hours per week - although a 25-hour per week commitment will be considered as a minimum.
