Web and/or Graphic Designer - KnowledgeView - Lebanon

KnowledgeView is looking for a visual UI and Web designer with 1 to 2 years of experience, to produce design work required by all sections of the business, under the direction of the Senior Designer and working closely with our developers team.

Projects include: UI design for mobile apps across multiple handsets including HTML enabled phones, iPhone, iPad and Blackberry devices, website and web-application design, including graphic design for print.

Responsibilities
- Assist design and development of UI according to the design guidelines
- Have good skills in web standards (HTML & CSS)
- Understands and be able to use JavaScript libraries - should produce standards-compliant code.
- Be experienced in Adobe Photoshop
- Test and critique implementations of designs

The Graphic/Web Designer is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all Library design initiatives, including Library web pages, user interfaces for digital projects and in-house developed databases, as well as exhibits, posters and other Library outreach materials to promote the Libraries' collections and services. He/she works closely with Librarians and the University IT team to carry these design projects through the design, development, implementation and assessment cycle. -

Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Graphic or Web Design, Masters is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Identify, address and solve complex user interface and information design challenges
- Work with user-flows and wireframes to deliver designs of UI components and Web applications
