Illustrator - SABIS - Lebanon
Essential Duties
- Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material and discuss them with supervisors and making necessary changes.
- Create and prepare sketches and model drawings of cartoon characters, providing details from memory, live models, or reference materials.
- Create images and designs by using the traditional hand skills of drawing and painting, alongside other techniques, to meet design briefs.
- Use computer-aided design to scan images and change size, colors and other elements.
- Create graphics, illustrations, and three-dimensional models to be used in research or in teaching, such as in demonstrating anatomy.
- Render sequential drawings that can be turned into animated films.
- Shade and fill in sketch outlines and backgrounds, using a variety of media such as watercolors, markers, and transparent washes, labeling designated colors when necessary.
- Study different techniques to learn how to apply them to artistic endeavors.
Skills
- Knowledge in the printing process techniques
- Ability to solve problems and implement solutions accordingly
- Excellent creativity
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Organization skills
- Excellent Computer skills (MS programs, Quark X press, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, PDF Distiller, Flash, Wacon, etc)

- Working within a style, including a style set by another artist or art director
- Communicating with the dedicated development and graphics teams, ensuring that everyone’s requirements are considered during the creative process
- Contributing ideas, not only of a graphical nature, but also regarding working practices
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate creative and original concepts and take art direction
- Excellent knowledge and experience using Photoshop
- Excellent drawing and design skills
- Keen eye for detail in all areas from artwork through to finished piece
- Positive communicator with the ability to work with staff from all areas of the company
- Energetic, enthusiastic, self motivated with a strong work ethic and a high level of initiative

- Previous experience in a concept artist role within the games industry is a plus

Illustrators - Blink Studios - Freelance
Blink Studios is working on a long-form animation project in conjunction with twofour54 in Abu Dhabi. We are working on an animated 3D series that will have a storybook that will be featured in every episode that has a different story with a different style of illustration every time. We are submitting works of freelance illustrators to be approved and featured in the show.
Once selected, you will be given a story to illustrate that will be featured in one episode of the show.
