Internships - Time Out Beirut - Lebanon
There are three internships available at Time Out Beirut: Editorial, Digital and Online. The intern should be motivated, dedicated, and interested in pursuing a career in publishing. While the positions are heavy on research and administrative work, interns will potentially take on writing/photo/design assignments.
Qualifications
Fluency in English is essential, French and Arabic desirable, and a writing sample is required. Digital Interns must be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Bridge. Fall interns must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, September - January.

- Develop concepts for and design all “New Media” collateral materials, including direct mail, and ads
- Manage web site design updates while maintaining look and feel
- Plan concept by studying information and material
- Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style
- Prepare finished copy and art and final layout
- Manage and maintain graphic files, including logos, photos and art
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional publications

- Bachelor degree in Graphic and Web Design
- Minimum of 4 years in a related field
- Familiarity with Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign & Acrobat), Flash, and motion graphics
- Fluent in Arabic and English
